- We try to understand local traditions and customs and act accordingly
- We make an effort to speak the local language. A little goes a long way.
- We try to support local merchants and restaurants when in a host country. Not only does it support the economy, but it makes for a better experience!
- Everyone wants great photos and videos of their trips, but not at the expense of the personal or physical boundaries of the locals.
We are nature enthusiasts, which means:
- We try to avoid paying for photos/videos with local wildlife.
- Try to avoid riding or physically interacting with animals when local regulations prohibit it.
- Provide the indigenous wildlife the space mandated by local regulations.
