Trips typically include accommodations, transportation between airports, accommodations, and activities, meals and guided activities related to your area.
We do not include flights, food or drinks outside of the set menu, or tips.
Ventana Travel works closely in a joint effort with your guides and hosts on location to plan trip logistics.
Unless otherwise stated, our trips typically come with three meals per day included.
Dietary and allergy information will be collected leading up to the trip to ensure we meet your needs. Unless your trip is themed as such, we do not typically include free alcoholic beverages in our trips.
We typically avoid large scale resorts in sterile settings and opt for accommodations off the beaten path in quaint or boutique settings
Our trips typically book between 8 and 30 travelers with one or more group leaders involved in making the most of your experience.
Our groups typically meet at the airport at our arranged shuttle. Groups may already know each other ahead of time, or we will send out an introductory package to groups who are unfamiliar with each other.
Unless you purchase a single accommodation, you’ll share a 2-4 occupancy accommodation. We’ll match you with someone of the same gender identity unless you request a specific roommate.
We will provide a packing list leading up to your trip with specific items that make sense based on your location. We will also provide visa and entry requirements to the country you will be traveling to. We cannot provide assistance with obtaining visas.
Of course. We are happy to help plan trips for solo travelers, or assist them in beginning their journey as group leaders.
Instead of offering simple hotel stays, we offer trips based on activities and experiences. From scuba diving, to yoga liveaboards, to wine tasting journeys, we offer a diverse range of trips.
Yes! You can book travel insurance directly through us.
In order to provide the best possible travel experience, our trips are painstakingly designed by us, our trip operators, and our group leaders, so we want to ensure you’re committed to joining!
If cancelling more than 90-days before your trip, your 25% down payment (minus a $100 cancellation fee) can be returned in the form of a trip credit towards any future travel booked in the next year.
If we cancel a booking for any reason, you can transfer your down payment and additional payments to another trip or receive a full refund.
You pay Ventana Travel directly for your trip, so outside of tips, you should not pay hosts, trip operators, guides, etc directly for your trip.
